The sunscreen problem nobody solves
Reapplication is where every sun-care routine falls apart. Some honest options for a climate that makes it hard.

Almost everybody applies sunscreen once. Almost nobody applies it again. In a climate where you are moving between air conditioning and direct equatorial sun several times a day, the second application is the one that matters.
Why it does not happen
Reapplying a fluid SPF over makeup means redoing your face. That is the whole reason, and no amount of being told to reapply will change it. The answer is a format that goes over the top of what you are already wearing.
- A stick, applied in two or three passes and pressed in with fingertips
- A powder, if you are already using one
- Or simply accepting a lower total and reapplying to the exposed areas only
Perfect adherence is not the goal. Reapplying to your face and the backs of your hands at lunchtime is worth more than an ideal routine you abandon in a fortnight.
